When you purchase your Entertainment™ Book through the Rotary Club of Chadstone East Malvern, 20% of the purchase price goes to the club to provide funds for the many worthy projects in the local community and around the world.

The Rotary Club of Chadstone are famous their fundraising barbecues. Come along and get your sausages in bread with onions this Sunday at the MS Walk and Fun Run.  There will be plenty of tomato sauce to complete the menu.

Albert Park will hosts thousands of people in an annual walk and run in support of Australians living with multiple sclerosis. The MS Walk and Fun Run has been held since 1989 and has raised millions of dollars to fund essential services and support for people living with multiple sclerosis.

Visit the Rotary Chadstone/East Malvern Family Fun Day at Central Park and enjoy a great day out with the whole family including your dog. The Family Fun Day is held in conjunction with City of Stonnington Pets in the Park. Experience jumping castles, rides and performances by local choirs and dancing troupes in Stonnington Sounds.

The Family Fun Day (formerly known as the Rotary Carnival) is an annual fund raising activity that has taken a significant place in history of our community providing funds that go directly into community projects.  In its 37th year, this Family Fun Day is sure to not disappoint the families that return year on year.

This year there will be plenty of fun for the kids with rides, mini golf and food stalls.  Where else can you get fairy floss?  For Mums, Dads and Grand Parents we have plant and second-hand books stalls as well as great selection of items on offer in our silent auction.

Our Rotarians are the barbeque experts and will be on hand turning sausages in our sausage sizzle tent.

Included in the Rotary Family Fun Day will be The Sounds of Stonnington featuring the live music and entertainment on stage. The program will run this year for 5 solid hours, and will include local school groups, local dance groups.

The Rotary Chadstone/East Malvern are proud to present one of the most successful club community programmes initiated by our club - BusyFeet.

BusyFeet is a program for kids with significant mental and physical disabilities to learn the magic of dance with 1-1 volunteer tuition.  Sounds of Stonnington will give these children an opportunity to showcase what the locals can do, and to give kids a “performance experience”.

Our Rotary Club conducts a Craft Market to raise funds for community projects like rebuilding schools in developing countries and helping locally with projects like our BusyFeet dance and movement program for children with special needs. Our next Market is on Saturday 14 February starting at 9am. In addition to the commercial market stalls selling jewellery candles, children's clothing etc, we have a number of community groups conducting stalls to raise funds including

• Sacred Heart Girls' College from Oakleigh who raise funds to support marginalised women in the Philippines and Vietnam
• St Joseph's Refugee Support Group raising funds for refugees in Werribee
• The World of Difference program

Other community groups will be present explaining what they do and seeking new participants including

• 1st Malvern Scouts, Chadstone
• Chadstone Lawn Bowls Club
• Girl Guides
• The Rotary Club of Chadstone East Malvern.

Many families in the Stonnington area are going back to 'real trees' with the Rotary Club of Chadstone/East Malvern providing the community with freshly cut Christmas trees this Christmas.
