We have locked in Saturday 14th May for a visit to Donations in Kind, affectionately known as DIK, starting at 9.30am. Bob Glinderman, fellow Rotarian at Melbourne, will take us on a tour of the premises. The tour will be followed by morning tea, provided by our good selves (Michele to be precise 😊). We will then spend an hour doing some hands-on work to help with the many sorting tasks that are needed. The visit should conclude around 12pm.

DIK is run 100% by volunteers and operates as a recycling facility and is a project of Rotary Australia Work Community Service (RAWCS). DIK offers volunteering opportunities for Rotarians and members of the public, enabling RAWCS to provide free goods to the people in need throughout the world.

I believe we will also be donating some home mobility aids that Paul Rake has secured.

We will look at car-pooling depending on what suits everyone.
