2017 Here we are! Caroline has stepped up to publish our CC whilst our amazing CC Editor is recovering from her surgery. Best wishes for your return Sandi, but for now…relax! Thanks heaps Caroline.

Welcome back to Barb after her convalescence and thanks to Rosemary for taking on the role of Almoner during Barb’s absence.

February is a big month as is March – lots of activities and events to fill the calendar.  This Wednesday is our Membership evening – a great opportunity to hear PDG Julie Mason speak and a time to know more about volunteering in the Community.

 

Vocational Visit  - Monash/ Intensive care

On Wednesday the 18th January the members of the Chadstone / East Malvern Rotary Club wanted to do something different to celbrate Rotary Vocational Services Month.  We elcted to visit the workplace of member Tania Aisbett who works as a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Monash Medical Centre (MMC). 

And how different was it – not only did we get to hear what Tania does but we got to both see and participate!!

Craft Market

The CHADSTONE CRAFT MARKET draws together people interested in selling and buying predominantly hand craft items across the spectrum of craft from aromatherapy, candles, body care products, to handmade baby and children wares to cards, homewares, jewellery and wood wares.

Stonnington Cluster Meeting
February 22, 2017, 6:00 pm to February 22, 2017, 9:00 pm

The cluster dinner scheduled for the 22nd February we have booked Dr Michael Walsh, Chief Executive of Cabrini Health.

It is intended that he will speak on the Strategy of Cabrini Health – Where it is today and where it will be in 10-20 years time.

Family Fun Day Planning

District 9800 Rotary Showcase

Come and explore the wide range of opportunities provided through Rotary to fulfil the needs of others in the community. The Rotary Showcase will offer visitors a glimpse into what can be achieved through active volunteering and a passion to improve the lives of others.
