Tree Planting at Markham Forest

Rotarians braved an early Sunday morning start with rain that wasn't on the radar to join with the Kooyongkoot Alliance to work the garden beds in the Markham Forrest on Gardners Creek.
Planting over 750 trees and shrubs, 40 volunteers from Rotary Chadstone/East Malvern, Friends of Ashburton Forest, Back2 Nettleton Friends, Urban Guerrillas and the Lions Club of Boroondara, completed the task in a little under two hours with a BBQ afterwards run by Rotary Chadstone/East Malvern.
Big thanks to Alick, Louise, Lyle, Emily and Rod for their amazing effort and we hope to see more faces next time.
Just 2250 plants to go - 13 August and 10 September - be there!
