The teams chose to debate for and against the resolution and could call out a “Block” which they would be given 5 minutes to get together with the zone and debate what they would say.  The teams also passed messaged to each other throughout the debate. The teams became very close and formed great partnership during this time.  It was amazing to see how they responded to each other and formed alliances with each other so quickly.

At the end of the two days, there were awards given out to the best individual debater in the girls and boys, in the costumes worn for the Country they represented and the best Team.  It was a resounding success and hopefully many more Rotarians will attend next year.  I would like to send at least 4 students next year.
